She is the first black model that has become the cover of several magazines that includes French Elle Magazine and German Cosmopolitan Magazine. Among all the early black achievements, her cover for the American Vogue in 1974 had made her achieve a definite spot in the fashion history.

Halle Berry is the top most sought after black actress of all time. She is a former fashion model and a beauty queen. Halle had received SAG, Emmy, Golden Globe and NAACP Image Award for Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. In addition, Halle had won an Academy Award Best Actress and she was also nominated for a BAFTA Award in 2001 for her performance in Monster’s Ball. Halle was the first African American that won Best Actress award.

Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman is an American actress, singer, comedian, songwriter, model and television producer. Symone has appeared in different television series like Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and The Cosby Show. One of the greatest achievements of Raven is when she starred in the comedy hit series That’s so Raven in Disney Chanel, this comedy series was the highest rated series in its first run.

Thandiwe Nashita “Thandie” Newton is an English actress. She appeared in different American and British films such as the Pursuit of Happyness, Mission: Impossible II, Run, Fat Boy, Run, Norbit, 2012, and other movies.

She is a Cuban-born American model, actress and singer. Upon growing up, she have modeled swimwear on different fashion shows and appeared at several music videos.
